"The sense of being lost in a moment, to gasp in slowly, to revel in the question or experiment, to be astounded, to notice something new and askew, to not know; the night sky, something bigger than us, magical and wonderful...In my Craft I revel in materiality and juxtaposition, the newness of technology, the simplicity of the cast plaster shape, the inventiveness of process. To elicit a gasp, a smile, or puzzlement from the viewer as they are embraced by a space containing all that provided me with wonderment as I was making."
The 'Wonderment Series' continues to expand in scale with explorations in new materialities (see landforms), physical dimensions and experimentation with new 3D printed forms. Each piece continues to investigate concepts such as personal topographies, place, memories, whispering, and celestial awe.
