I launched my artistic career in the early 80’s after graduating from Queen’s University and accepting a Winter residency at the Banff School of Fine Arts. This started a lifelong obsession with experimentation and materials, and over the last 40 years my drive to expand my work and define my skillset has granted me residencies and scholarships all over the world, including the Master’s program at the University of Minnesota, Art Education at the University of British Columbia, and research in New Zealand. I’ve followed my eagerness to learn and teach wherever it takes me, and have had my work exhibited in Canada, United States, France, Scotland, Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
After living in New Zealand for many years, I now work out of Whistler, Canada.
