Who will ever forget the eerie photographs of empty street across the world during the Pandemic? The streets emptied as people retreated into their homes, and we were left with empty plazas and building edifices. Even though the world felt abandoned, our human spirit was always present- sometimes seen through messages in the windows, music playing or revelry for the health care workers. "Empty Streets" is an ongoing drawing project that combines simplistic and strong shapes of buildings combined with hand stitching- the mark of our humanity.
