Wall Series

This series involves small renditions of geographic landscapes- a rock face of Whistler or the Tidal Sand Patterns found on the beach in New Zealand. They are first captured photographically, their locations noted, and then created in PLA plastic through a 3D printer.  I then work with these 'models' and mold-making techniques to create the Cast-Glass. Their scale is reminiscent of early paperweights, and the viewer can hold the mystery and magic of a location in their hand. This series of work is wall mounted. ​
