When I was young, my mother would spill out tins of buttons on the floor. She was looking for a moment by herself to sew, and she knew I would be kept busy organizing her collection.

The tin is a found container that is filled with blue buttons. They are made of ceramics and moulded from my mother’s and my button collections. I coloured them in shades of blue to emulate a collection organized by colour.
